Accepting these terms
Use of vectisworksgroup.com, a Vectis Works website, is governed by these terms. Using the site counts as accepting them. Anyone who does not accept them should stay off the site.
The purpose of the site
This site explains what Vectis Works offers manufacturers: shop-floor data, dashboards, software and automation services. It does not make an offer to contract. Engagements run under a separate agreement in writing that both sides sign, and that agreement prevails over these terms wherever the two conflict.
Sample data
Any dashboard, chart or figure shown here, or in the Vectis Works sample dashboard, is built on representative sample data. It shows the type of view we create. None of it reports a client result, and none of it promises an outcome for your operation.
Emails from us
Vectis Works may write by email to professionals in roles connected to its services. A reply to any one of those emails is enough to stop them. The privacy statement covers the information we keep, its sources, and the way to ask about it.
Acceptable use
Only lawful use of the site is allowed. Do not disrupt the site, probe it for security weaknesses, try to reach the site's systems without authorization, or use automated means to copy its content.
Ownership of content
Everything on this site, including its text, logos and graphics, belongs to its licensors or to Vectis Works. You are welcome to view and print pages as a reference for your own business. Any further copying, reuse or distribution needs written permission from us. Rights in what we deliver to a client come from the written agreement that covers that work.
Third-party sites
Pages here link to vectisworks.com, and the typeface is loaded from Google Fonts. Anything run by a third party is covered by that party's own policies and terms, and Vectis Works is not responsible for it.
No warranties
This site and everything on it is offered on an "as available" and "as is" basis, as general information only. As far as the law permits, we disclaim every warranty, whether express or implied, including those of non-infringement, merchantability and fitness for any particular purpose. We also make no promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation. The site does not give engineering, legal, financial or other professional advice.
Limit on liability
Where the law allows such a limit, Vectis Works is not liable for lost revenue, profits, data or business opportunities that arise from use of the site, nor for damages of a special, punitive, indirect, consequential or incidental kind. For any claim connected with the site, liability in total is capped at one hundred US dollars.
Indemnity
If you misuse the site or breach these terms, you will indemnify Vectis Works and its agents, team members and owners, and hold them harmless against resulting claims, losses and expenses, reasonable attorneys' fees included.
Law and disputes
Tennessee law governs these terms, setting aside Tennessee's rules on conflicts of law. Disputes about the site or these terms go to binding arbitration, held in Nashville, Tennessee and administered by the American Arbitration Association under its rules, unless the law forbids arbitration.
Other provisions
Should a provision here prove unenforceable, the remainder still applies. A term we choose not to enforce is not waived. These terms, together with the privacy statement, are the whole agreement between Vectis Works and you about this site. We may revise them, and the date shown at the top marks the version in force.
